Frequently asked questions
Help! I can't find the color I'm looking for!
I've changed a few color names since the "Knitting the National Parks" patterns were published, but the dye recipes are all the same! Here's a few that have changed:
Peaches is now Nectarine
Berry Punch is now Juice Break
Lemon-Lime is now Margarita
Island Sunrise is now Campfire
Ocean Water is now Costa del Sol
Merlot is now Black Cherry
Sweet Cream is now Vanilla
I still don't see the color I want, does that mean it's gone?
No problem! If you're looking for a colorway that you don't see listed above or on the site, go ahead and send me a message below! I'm happy to answer any questions you have or custom dye an old colorway just for you.
When will I get my order?
Since all yarn is dyed-to-order, please keep in mind there is a standard 2-3 week processing time for ALL orders. If I anticipate an order taking longer than that, I'll send a message your way to let you know what's happening.
If I order a large quantity of yarn, will it all be from the same dye lot?
I dye yarn in batches of 3, so any orders of more than 3 skeins will be from different dye lots. I take care to make colorways as consistent as possible! But as with all hand-dyed or handmade goods, variation is a part of what makes my products unique!
Where does your wool come from?
My yarn comes from mulesing-free South American farms in Argentina and Uruguay, and is milled in the USA.
Do you offer ball winding?
No, I don't offer ball winding at this time.
